Why is Cadel Evans considered to be a great Time trial rider compared to normal Tour de france stages?
The commentaters say Evans will most likely win or lose the race in that time trial.
Any insight would be great as I have enjoyed watching the tour de france!
Most of the riders in the Tour have a speciality and many of them are very weak in some disciplines.
Sastre is a pure climber not good in the time trial that is why although he has a 1:34 lead it is probably not enough to beat Evans in the TT and win the overall.
Evans’ speciality is the time trial (TT). He is also an excellant climber. Good enough to stay with the leaders in the mountains and capable of wiping most of them out in the TT.
Versus’ Tour de France "theme song" music – what is the title and where can I download it?
I have been addicted to the tour de france coverage on Versus and I love the instrumental music that they play during the transitional periods in the coverage (at the beginning, end, before/after commercial breaks). Does anyone know where I can download the song or what it is called? Thanks much!

Does anybody know how you get selected to race for one of the teams in the tour de france?
Sure. It’s pro sports. Cyclists sign contracts with teams. Teams are looking for the best riders in general and the riders are looking for the most money and best opportunity to win – in general. Teams get selected to the TDF. If your good enough, your team selects you as one of the 9 to ride the Tour.
How poor a stage time do you need to be dropped from the Tour De France for taking too long in a stage?
The tour de france sometimes drops riders for not making it across the finish line in enough time. This normally doesn’t happen until the mountains. What is the criteria for dropping riders? Is it so many minutes behind the winner of the race? Is it so many minutes behind the pelaton? Is it based on some set time for the tour stage?
you are eliminated if you finish more then 10% of the winners time of that stage!
(ONLY) next day same thing . that’s also why you may see guys who are more the a hour behind the yellow jersey.
What are some laws and regulations that you are aware of to do with bike riding?
Besides that you have to wear a helmet in S. ca UNLESS you are riding on the side walk or on your own property

Due to the amount of drug or suspected drug cheating in the tour de france , are the public going to losing intertest?
Is every winner from here on in going to be labeled a drug cheat simply because he won it?
