lance is not in …
lance is not in form yet… he hasn’t got his time trial legs back…
with a whole winter to train…. and get ready again.
i think next years 2010 tour will be a reminder of his prime years back when he won 7tours.
an 8th win is perfectly possible….after all he is on 3rd this year….a few minutes of time down from the leader isn’t much for lance if he can see a way of improving his speed that little bit more through training………………..

To ‘MrRobb1982′ – Yes, based on his behaviour on the last stage [the Paris stage], you would have to conclude that Lance Armstrong needs his head examined – what on earth was he thinking – he must think we’re stupid. There is ample evidence that his attitude just ruined his stature as a World Class International athlete – Of course, he has tremendous media clout and undoubtedly will escape this catastrophe unscathed. The real shame is the commentary by Vs TV on that last day – awful

ok if Contador is better than Armstrong so contador must win 5 more tours and if he wants to race only the tour ok lets see if he can do it, but in this moment Armstrong is better than contador

Contador is much stronger than Armstrong. 4 big races in 3 years. 2tours, 1Giro and 1Vuelta. Only a few leyends could get this big races. Contador is one of them.

Did Amstrong ever win a Giro or a Vuelta??? No, Amstrong was allways preparing to be ready in July, but never was at top of his form in May or September… Contador allready has 1 Vuelta, 1 Giro, 2 Tours (and he wasn’t able of participating in last year’s tour… if he had done it he would have 3 Tours).
