It must disrupt normal life in France and it finishes in Paris every year. So what are the economic benefits to France and beyond?
Greatly…but not as important as the 2012 Olympics, of which the 30 year debt will be paid by the ‘victorious’ inhabitants of the UK – who laughed at Paris for failing to grab the main prize of hosting it…before the cold light of day arrived. Très drôle.
It attracts many people to the towns and they have to stay in their hotels and eat their food just like the olympics.

Very, has is tourism in general, a lot of British go to france every year, but the French really dislike the British, why do we bother?

the tv rights must be worth money for one thing. And it is a great advert for tourism.
I don’t think it is seen as a disruption by the average Frenchman,that’d be like saying Bastille day is a disruption
